Yolo County Fair
August 16-20
The oldest and largest free fair in the state, Yolo is a mecca for bees—and that means honey! Sample sweet harvests from local hives.
Humboldt County Fair
August 17-27
On August 24, join host and hometown celebrity chef Guy Fieri for the annual Chili Cook-Off. Sample dozens of chili dishes cooked by local restaurants and organizations. Rock out to Ryan Rice and The Remedy Band while the chili cooks and stay after the competition to dance the night away with The Undercovers.

Tri-County Fair
August 31-September 3
Musical act Banda El Limon play for fairgoers on Thursday, followed by Chris Janson on Friday. Expect big crowds for both the Western Rodeo on Saturday and the Demolition Derby on Sunday.
Monterey County Fair
August 31-September 4
Kids will love the Livestock Show throughout the weekend. Tyler Rich takes the Payton Stage on Thursday night at 7 p.m.

Santa Cruz Country Fair
September 13-17
Local produce is the star of this charming fair. Enjoy all the amazing competitions, including the Apple Pie Baking Contest.
